About Me
I received a Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University in 1995, and my training there was in direct clinical practice with children and adults. I am licensed to practice in the state of Virginia as a clinical social worker which means that I completed two years of post-graduate supervised practice and then passed the Virginia state licensing exam in order to obtain my LCSW license in 1997. I have been in private practice here in Fredericksburg for more than 25 years. I am a mid-life career changer, having been an artist and a professional photographer prior to becoming a therapist.
